I've said all year that Jrue has got to be one of, if not the highest, IQ player in the NBA right now. On both ends of the court, he just has an elite feel for the game and knowledge of what he needs to do to be impactful whether he has the ball or not. There's not a lot of other players that can do the same things. I'm not saying he's the "best" player, but he has got to be one of the smartest and I can't think of anyone in the league that has demonstrated a higher IQ this year.

Me being over 40, I started/playing watching basketball back when bigs weren't taught to take 3pt shots or dribble outside the post. It seemed like they just didn't have the natural ability due to their size. Back then it was deemed a tactical disadvantage to have "twin towers". People didn't believe in Robinson/Duncan first, only when Duncan turned out to be an all time great PF as well and not a pure center. But if one of them dudes handles and shoots the ball like a guard and both of them are top defenders real life basketball turns in to 2k and the other teams will basically have to find a new way to defend and attack. Due to Wembanyama's inexperience and Rudy and him not being used to each other and probably almost stepping on each others feet under the rim from time to time and the sheer talent of this year's Team USA they will probably take it, and France will have to battle it out with Canada, Serbia and Germany for 2nd place. But you can't underestimate home court advantage, especially internationally and the better team-ball Europeans play and some tournament luck either. I think the Olympics are going to be quite fun to watch. USA will have to play serious for real, Canada, Serbia, France and Germany will make it a competitive tournament.

Actually, I don't know what's all the fuss is about as it relates to the Thunder! And I can recall, the 1st year of the rebuild the league teams had automatic wins over Thunder. I also remember Draymond Green said, " it was a waste time to play Thunder and they should be taken of their calendar of games! I also remember how Memphis scored a history make record against Thunder, I think it was a 60pts win! Plus we only won about 14 games that season! Now that we had a 42 games and 57 game winning season, people being to take notice. This was done by not skipping steps in the rebuild process.
